Cabaret: The Golden Age of Broadway
A Wendy Brown Memorial Fundraiser
As spring blooms, we invite you to our annual Cabaret Fundraiser, this year we honor our former Artistic Director Chuck Schneider through "The Golden Age of Broadway". Accompanied by the melodious voice of vocalists Casey Gray and Jazmin Gorsline and the baton of conductor Glen Cortese, we will take you on a journey through the iconic sounds of Bernstein, Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, and more. Revel in Bernstein's vivacious "Overture to Candide," surrender to the vibrant rhythms of Gershwin's "An American in Paris," and bask in the brilliance of Broadway's golden era.
As always, this concert is full of fun and excitement, with our three local celebrities raising fund all in an effort to win the chance to take up the baton to conduct the Catskill Symphony Orchestra. Ticket buyers are welcome to complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres and coffee stations are available and a cash bar will be open before the concert and at Intermission.
